# 02 Salon and beauty: e-mail, letter, notice, social post

Templates, not legal advice. Replace every [placeholder] (list in part 01). Show prices as the final amount the customer pays, and check the price display rules for your country (see part 01).

## Before you send: salon specifics

- **Appointments already booked:** Decide whether they keep the old price and say so in the message.
- **Vouchers and loyalty cards:** Decide whether they are redeemed at the old or the new price, and state it clearly.
- **Explain the pricing logic:** If your prices depend on hair length, time needed or treatment length, show the scale on the price list.
- **Online booking and website:** Update both before the effective date. Nothing annoys a customer more than a booking page that shows the old price.
- **Colleagues who rent a chair or work freelance in your salon:** Agree dates and amounts with them before anything goes out.
