A price increase is rarely the problem. It gets tricky when customers see it first on the bill, when the reason is unclear, or when your website, notice and till show different prices. This kit gives you ready-to-fill texts, a short guide and answers to the questions customers actually ask. Want to read first? The free guide How to announce a price increase to customers is open to everyone.
- Start from a finished text, not a blank page. Four channels (e-mail, letter, notice, social post) for each of four kinds of business: salons and beauty, cafés and restaurants, trades and home services, practices. The placeholders carry the same names in every text, so you fill in your details once and reuse them.
- Decide before you write. A short guide covers when to raise prices, how to work out the new price, how early to announce, how to give an honest reason and which mistakes to avoid.
- Be ready for the questions. Twelve short answers to what customers actually ask, to practise with your team, plus ten AI prompts to adapt a draft or check a text for gaps.
What is in the kit
- Guide: when to raise prices, how to work out the new price, how early to announce, how to give an honest reason and which mistakes to avoid. With general legal pointers (price display, contract terms, regulated fees).
